ENRICHMENT & EXTRA-CURRICULAR

Sport and PE

All students in Years 7 to 11 will have a minimum of one hour PE as part of their weekly timetable. We also provide additional extra-curricular opportunities during lunchtimes or after-school and through a variety of clubs and competitions.

Bourne Academy has excellent sporting facilities with grass pitches for football and rugby, an astro pitch for hockey and football, hard courts for netball and a fully equipped fitness suite with cardio and resistance equipment. The school also share use of the multi-purpose Sports Hall with Bourne Leisure Centre.

The following activities will run in Term 4 (Monday 20th February to Friday 31st March 2023).

The following activities will run in Term 4 (Monday 20th February to Friday 31st March 2023). All after-school sports run from 3.15pm to 4.30pm.

Sports clubs and competitions

The PE department run many sports teams and students will participate in competitions against other local schools. Please speak to the PE department if you want to get involved

We also support our students who participate in a diverse range of individual and team sports to compete at a higher level. Our students have recently been successful in boxing, golf, hockey, motocross and throwing.
