Deadline for applications
The deadline for applications is Friday 11th December 2026.
Advice & Guidance Meeting
All applicants will have a meeting with a member of the Sixth Form Team to discuss your option choices and future career development to ensure you are choosing the relevant subjects. This typically takes place in February and March of Year 11.
Induction / Transition Day
All applicants will visit the Sixth Form in June 2027 for an induction event so you are fully prepared for when you start in September 2027 incorporating a range of activities focussing on introductory lessons of the subjects you have chosen.
GCSE Results Day
GCSE results will be released on Thursday 19th August 2027. If you have not yet applied to Sixth Form, then you can still apply after you get your results (subject to places available).
Probation Period
All Sixth Form students will be subject to an initial three week probation period in September whereby their full time attendance (including attendance at induction), behaviour, attainment and suitability for each of their chosen subjects will be reviewed.
