Year 11 students are on target after receiving their mock exam results
The hard work is starting to pay off for Year 11 students as last week they have received the results of their mock exams and they now have details of revision timetables and their new subject timetables. The mock exams are a dry run for the summer GCSE examinations and are a great indicator for students and staff so they know how they are set to perform as the mocks can be compared against student targets.
We scheduled the Year 11 Parent’s Evening to take place on Thursday 27th January so it is timed for after students receive this important information. It is really important that parents and students attend these individual online subject meetings as it will help them to understand where the focus needs to be and the support we can provide over the coming months.
We are also really pleased to share the results of the Year 11 assessment of learning (AOL) data for Bourne Academy, which forecasts the end of Key Stage 4 progress to be +0.71 which places the school WELL ABOVE the national average and in the top 20% of schools in the country.
