Student exam artwork featured at our annual Student Art Exhibition

To showcase the amazing examination artwork from our Year 11 and Year 13 students, we held our annual Student Art Exhibition in the Sixth Form Common Room last week.
There was a wide range of artworks exhibited including paintings, drawings, textiles, collages and sculptures. Student portfolios were also on view showing the processes and research involved in producing their artwork.
Students in all year groups had the opportunity to view the exhibition and be inspired to see what they can achieve if they continue to study Art & Design at GCSE or in Sixth Form.
For family and friends of Year 11 and Year 13 students who are exhibiting, there was also an evening event on Wednesday 18th June 2025, which gave everyone the opportunity to celebrate the hard work and achievements whilst studying this creative and enjoyable subject.
Mrs Curson, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Head of School said “The quality and originality of the artwork on display was truly impressive, highlighting the exceptional skill and creativity nurtured throughout their coursework. The exhibit not only celebrated the student’s achievements but also gave students and their family the opportunity to see their artwork in a gallery experience. It was wonderful to see so many students, family and staff turn up to the event and to hear the varied creative pathways they intend to take next.”
