Sixth Form Open Evening
The Post 16 Open Evening at Bourne Academy has again been a huge success, with well over 200 visitors coming to look at what sixth form study has to offer at our school!
There was an informative talk from the Head of Sixth Form and the Head Student Team (Pictured above), which felt very personal due to the Head Students sharing their positive experiences of the school.
Visitors were able to see that Bourne Academy offers a broad and balanced curriculum, made up of both academic A Level and vocational BTEC study. The vision of the school is to provide high quality teaching for all students who are able to follow a pathway of their choice, supported by exceptional pastoral care and careers guidance.
The feedback received from visitors to Bourne Academy was overwhelmingly positive and we would like to thank everyone who attended, as well as the staff and current Year 12 & 13 students for working hard in support of the evening.
