Local and national exhibitors set to attend our annual Careers Fair

One of the highlights in the careers calendar is our annual Careers Fair at Bourne Academy, and once again we have a large number of businesses and employers attending the event on Thursday 15th October 2026 to help inspire our students to explore the careers opportunities available to them.

There will be employers covering a wide range of sectors including construction and engineering, care and medical, business and professional and uniformed services as well as Post-16 and Post-18 education providers. For the full list of employers see the programme above.

Year 9, Year 10 and Year 11 students have been allocated timeslots to visit the fair during the daytime and all year groups are allowed to visit the Careers Fair during lunch break. Sixth Form students are also free to visit the fair during their free periods and lunch.

From 3.30pm to 4.30pm, all students are then invited back into school with parents/carers and siblings to look around, visit exhibitors, gather information and discuss options. Details about attending the after-school session has been sent to parents/carers via the school app.

Please note that the exhibitors may change on the day due to circumstances out of our control as we rely on the goodwill of local companies attending and there may be additional exhibitors attending as the programme was produced at the start of September 2026.
