England Netball Training Session
On Wednesday 12th February, 30 girls from Years 8 -11 took part in a specialist coaching session from Jade Clarke. Jade is the most capped England player of all time & has just finished playing in the Nations cup competition for the English Roses.
The netball girls all enjoyed the 2 hour session that Jade put on for them. They learned new skills & tactics, which they can use in their matches for the rest of the season.
Information about Jade:
Jade was named as captain of England in 2011, and captained them to a first ever gold medal in the 2011 World Netball Series. In 2012, she signed to play for the NZ Franchise, Northern Mystics for the ANZ Championships. Jade is the most capped England player who was also a member of the gold medal winning England team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. She was also selected in the 12-player squad for the Roses at the 2019 Netball World Cup. She is currently playing for Wasps in the Vitality Netball Superleague and has just played for England at the Nations Cup, where they came 3rd.
