Progress 8 Score

The most recent published Progress 8 score for Bourne Academy was +0.59 in the summer of 2024. No Progress 8 scores were published in 2025 due to the impact of Covid-19 as this cohort did not sit Key Stage 2 tests at primary school. This Progress 8 score indicates:

  • Bourne Academy is the top performing non-selective school in the whole of Lincolnshire
  • Bourne Academy is in the top 6% of all schools nationally
  • Bourne Academy is performing well above national average

The national Progress 8 scores is how the DfE benchmark the progress students make from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4.
