How to get involved in major construction projects in Lincolnshire
For our students looking for a great career in Construction, we were pleased to welcome Eurovia UK who are a construction company that work on local and national projects.
Rachel Galley along with Stuart Bryon and Luke Brown from the company came to speak to Year 11 students in assembly this week about the many opportunities available and how they can progress in this rewarding and well paid industry.
Eurovia are involved in many major local road projects including the new Spalding Western Relief Road and they specialise in roads, bridges, pathways, motorways, car parks and even airport runways. All of this will require a highly skilled team covering a variety of areas such as design, planning and archaeology as well as support teams in IT, HR and Accounting.
Students were able to learn about the different pathways with apprenticeships and graduate schemes that are available either after school or university.
Our students even got the opportunity to learn more about the specialist equipment that is used in this highly technical sector.
