Sixth formers hard work and progress rewarded with free breakfast
Recognising and rewarding students’ achievements and progress plays an important part of Bourne Academy and we know what our students really appreciate when their hard work is recognised.
Today we rewarded Sixth Form students in Year 12 and 13 who had achieved excellent AOL (Assessment of Learning) data since the start of the academic year. To acknowledge the outstanding academic outcomes of our students, we held a special breakfast in the canteen with free hot chocolate and pastries.
Mrs Barber, Sixth Form Lead and Careers & Aspirations Lead said “Throughout students time at Sixth Form, we monitor their progress and feedback progress so we can support them and ensure everyone reaches their full potential. The AOL data involves predicted subject grades and attitude to learning grades from their teachers. Year 12 were also congratulated on the excellent start to their Sixth Form, whilst Year 13 were praised for maintaining their high standards throughout.”
