Meredith Marsh in Year 9 will be playing Blousey Brown.
Acting, singing and dancing – Meredith can do them all. Since she started dancing at the age of 4, she then quickly found a passion for drama and also has a natural talent for singing. Out of school, she is a member of the Tolethorpe Youth Drama, qualified for the All England Dance National Finals and completing her Grade 8 London College of Music singing qualification.

Mia will be a familiar face for many having starred in numerous musicals such as We Will Rock You, Guys & Dolls, Grease, Annie and School of Rock as well as singing at many local events and even performing as Elsa, Anna and Snow White for ‘Beyond A Princess’. After studying Music and Performing Arts at Sixth Form, Mia will be continued her Performing Arts studies by studying at ESPA (Eastern School of Performing Arts).
John-Luke Francis in Year 13 will be playing Fat Sam Staccato.
This is a character that John-Luke was born to play as they are both half-Italian. As many of the lead cast he has stacks of experience and has performed in the productions of We Will Rock You, Annie and Othello. John-Luke’s acting experience includes working with Shakespeare For Schools and in the annual season of the Stamford Shakespeare Company and the Oundle Festival.
Abbie Chappell in Year 13 will be playing Fizzy.
Abbie has been a regular at all of the previous school performances since she joined Bourne Academy. Anyone who has been to any of these performances will know what an amazing singer she is, plus she has a Grade 8 in Classical and Jazz to prove it. This will be Abbie’s last school performance as from September, she will be studying a degree Midwifery at the University of York and we hope she will be able to sing on the job.
Cameron Rosam-Goodwin in Year 11 will be playing Cagey Joe.
Cameron is an all-rounder and enjoys acting, singing and music having performed in previous school performances and productions. He is just as comfortable on the stage or in front of the mic as he is also the singer in a band called The Outsiders. You can expect to see more of Cameron in the future as he will be starting Bourne Academy Sixth Form from September.
Jothen Parker in Year 10 will be playing Leroy.
Since the age of 5, Jothen has appeared in Pantomimes and he has never looked back as he is someone who genuinely loves acting and performing. The character of Leroy appealed to Jothen as he can demonstrate his comedic abilities. As part of Tomorrows Dream Performers he appeared in Robin Hood meets Sleeping Beauty at the Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre. In the future, he wants to carry on acting as a career and go to drama school.
Miles Francis in Year 8 will be playing O’Dreary.
As the youngest member of our lead cast, Miles is following in the footsteps of his older brother John-Luke who is playing Fat Sam. Miles caught the acting bug having appeared in a production of Troy and the Trojan Horse and is relishing the opportunity to take a well-deserved leading role. This will be his first school production at Bourne Academy and will definitely not be his last.
