PSHE Day 1

Bourne Academy had its first PSHE day of the academic year today. The day was a brilliant success with lots students commenting that they learnt a lot of valuable life skills. 

Year 8 were practising the vital life saving skill on mannequins provided by the British Heart Foundation. Year 7 were learning the importance of financial management and had the opportunity to see our annual careers fair with Y10 and Y12. The fair had over 30 visitors from a variety of companies and organisations. We were very privileged to be the first school in Lincolnshire to have the BT Openreach’s high-tech showcase van to discuss with students about becoming engineers
