Year 11 speak to Sixth Formers about the subjects they study
Before our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday this week, our Sixth Formers gave up during their lunch break to speak to Year 11 students about the subjects that they are currently studying.
In the Sixth Form Centre there was a ‘subject marketplace’ where every subject was represented by volunteer Sixth Formers who had prepared their coursework to display and show what can be expected.
We know that our Year 11 students really appreciated the opportunity to speak to their peers and ask them questions about the subjects and what it is like studying at the Sixth Form. This gives students the chance to ask questions they wouldn’t normally ask teachers in a relaxed environment.
As a Sixth Form, we are proud to empower our students to be role models for the subjects they are studying to inspire other students to follow in their footsteps.
