SUMMER HOLIDAYS
The school will closed during the summer holidays. The phones at main reception will be diverted to answerphone. If you leave a message this will not be picked up until Thursday 3rd September 2026.
You may email the school on office@bourneacademy.org as staff will monitor emails during the summer holidays, but we cannot guarantee to answer your email due to staff being on leave.

RETURN TO SCHOOL
Students will return to school as follows:
- Thursday 3rd September 2026: Years 7, 10, 11 & 12 only
- Friday 4th September 2026: Years 8, 9 & 13 will return (all students are expected to be in school)
If there are any student absences for the start of term, you must report your child is absent before 8.15am. Visit www.bourneacademy.org/attendance-2 for details about attendance.
TERM DATES

We would like to remind parents/carers, that students are not allowed to take holidays during term time as this can impact on their learning. The term dates are provided with advance notice to allow you to plan ahead, which is why we have also published the provisional dates for the 2027/28 academic year.
